A Truly Amazing Story

I believe, as should be well aware by now, that Barack Obama is right on the vast majority of the issues facing this country.  His ideas on foreign and domestic policy are, for the most part, excellent, and are vastly superior to the bumbling, babbling incompetence of cranky John McCain.

Apart from policy, though, Barack also happens to be a kind and decent man.  He is, at his core, simply a good person.

I've read a lot about Barack's life, but never before have I found this trait - Barack's fundamental decency - more apparent than in this story about an incredibly generous good deed he did for a complete stranger some 20 years ago.  Read the story, and think: in just over four weeks' time, we might be electing this guy to the presidency of the United States.  It's a nice thing to think about.
