Landslide?

Democratic strategists are beginning to think it's plausible that Obama wins this thing in a landslide, perhaps even netting more than 350 electoral votes (thanks to the big states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia all theoretically shifting into the Democratic column).

One certainly does get that sense.  However, things have changed so quickly that I wonder if some of Obama's support is kinda soft.  Like, if something else really big happens in the final 26 days, could this thing flip back to McCain?  It does seem unlikely that another hugely gigantic seismic historical event could happen - again - with less than a month to go, but stranger things have happened.

When you add Obama's millions of new voters and unprecedented campaign organization to the fact that the economy alone may be pushing him into landslide territory, well, it makes me feel good.  But remember: his name is Barack Obama and he is a biracial first-term senator from Illinois.  We are still going to have to work for every single vote we get.  Don't believe me?  Watch this.  And this.
