It's Not Just the Climate

Half of all mammals are "in decline," according to this report:
A comprehensive survey of mammals included in the annual report by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), which covers more than 44,000 animal and plant species, shows that a quarter of the planet's 5,487 known mammals are clearly at risk of disappearing forever.
The next president must lead the way in combatting the environmental disasters that lurk just around the corner.  There is no time to waste.  The future of the world as we know it depends on acting now.  And the United States must lead the way.
