Tim Lincecum, all of 24, won the National League Cy Young Award today.
This means that, according to the BBWAA (Baseball Writers' Association of America), the San Francisco Giants ace was the best pitcher in the NL this year.
That's probably true, though I would have loved to see Brad Lidge of the *ahem* WORLD SERIES CHAMPION Philadelphia Phillies get the award. He did go 41-for-41 in save opportunities this season (and then 7-for-7 in the playoffs).
